This weekend we went camping with Dan's brother & his family...We had such a great time...
Our sites were right along the "Muddy Creek" ~ It had been raining the day we arrived so the creek was high & very muddy & Matthew said - "Wow - The Creek is made of Chocolate Milk!" The campground was really nice & clean & they even had a swimming pool (which my kids LOVED!). Saturday we went to some of the local area attractions and shops and bought some sweet corn which we roasted over the fire ~ YUM! You never know what it's going to be like when you go away for a weekend with people (even if they're family) but this weekend went very well...Everyone pitched in ~ We took turns cooking, holding the baby & even taking trips to the bathroom with the kids (Thanks Bobby!).
Uncle Jack & Aunt Mary got to have a lot of one-on-one time with our kids, which they rarely ever get to do! Even Baby Jake did well on his first camping trip!

Yep your right it was a great weekend! And you never can predict how these trips will go. We had great weather and conversation.You guys have great kids!We love them. It was fun to be with them so much..Usally it's parties and such and we don't get to have that one on one experience..Jake is getting so big!Becky is sooo smart and Matthew he is a rip..so funny..Can't wait to do it again!
