We went away for a mini-vacation to the beach last weekend with my family - It was so much fun! We go every year the weekend after Labor Day - It is so great because the weather is still awesome & summery, but all of the kids and families are back to school and there aren't a lot of crowds...
Jake went into the ocean for the first time ever ~ He was a little unsure at first, but then he liked it. Matthew really enjoyed jumping the waves & 
Becky is happiest just sitting on the sand and building her sandcastles! One day we went to see a motorcross race they had right on the beach - It was so cool - Matthew LOVED it! Now he wants his own dirtbike like the little kids that were racing!

Becky also wanted me to show a picture of all of the stuffed animals that we won on the boardwalk at the crane games. Between my mom & Danny they won over 30 stuffed animals (and no, they didn't spend their entire life savings doing it~They're just that good!)

I'm glad to have you back blogging again. I was checking in all week. Glad to hear you were having fun; I hope it was a bit relaxing, too. Funny how you mentioned motorcross, because we just got a dirt bike on Saturday.
