The kids were playing on the computer this evening and had a CD on...It is called "Country Gospel". Well, Matthew really liked one song called "Daddy Sang Bass"...He kept going over to the CD player and playing it over and over...For those of you who are not familiar with the song, a part of the lyrics goes like this..."Daddy sang bass, Mama sang tenor..." When I came into the room Matthew was very excited and in all seriousness said to me, "Mommy, I really like that song. You know, the one that goes ~ Daddy sang bass, Mama made dinner!" I tried not to crack up right then and there and I also refrained from an impromptu music lesson on the different voice ranges (it is summer vacation, you know!). Plus, he was so darn cute about it and he gets very angry if he thinks you are making fun of him. So, like a good Mommy I told him that I liked that song, too! Then, I went into the other room & told Dan the story & we cracked up together. Then I decided to make a long overdue blog entry about it! Oh well, good night! :)
