Urklay, urklay, urklay...

For those of you who aren't familiar with the extremely hard to crack code I have utilized in my post title - It is what many scholars like to refer to as "Pig Latin". It's where you take the first letter of a word and put it at the end of the word and ad -ay to it!

Yes! The title of my post is "Lurk, lurk, lurk"...My reasoning for this title is two-fold. First of all I want to tell you all that I can see by the counter that somebody is reading this blog, but not many people leave comments to me~Therefore, you are lurking! You don't have to have your own blog to leave a comment...So, I challenge you to learn something new - Leave me a comment...Say "Hi!"

The second reason is to tell a funny story about the origin of the title of my post. Back in 1985 when I used to hang out with my friend Wendy and we would do all the fun silly things that 14 year olds do (did I mention that she had a really cute brother who was a year older than we were?) Anyway, we used to have so much fun together all of the time that Wendy's parents wanted to check on us to make sure we weren't getting into some kind of trouble or something, so her father would kind of walk by her room door & hang out to listen in on what was going on. If we were in her living room watching tv, the same thing...hanging around...just passing by...Lurking! :) So Wendy & I used to make up a code for it & crack up even more...We'd know he was right around the corner checking on us so we'd look at each other & go "Urklay, urklay, urklay!" I know to many of you this sounds silly & all & actually, it is.

But the funniest part of this whole story is that Wendy & I are still friends to this day AND I am married to her cute older brother (so actually, Wendy & I are sisters-in-law now) AND when we are at their parents' house sometimes her father still does it! URKLAY - URKLAY!!!
